Problem – Create a distributed platform, multifunctional, that will offer easy customisation and extensibility for each future vendor.
The flights are operated in different ways in each airport so the need for customisation starts with the flight type and it involves custom compensation for a delayed flight like lounge vouchers, cash vouchers and different business rules applied according to different vendors.
The client is to integrate the flight data feeds into the platform and create great flexibility & communication between the internal components that handle flight alerts, tracking, delay and remuneration.
